Mumbai, India (Day 2)...January 10, 2009

As exciting as day 1 was, day 2 was even more adventurous. We were touring around the city and the first reaction was that the city was all covered in multiples layers of fog, as can be seen from the pictures, but that didn't stop us from getting our footprint imprinted. We were touring from religious to recreation places to the streets and I felt as you were walking on a gradient map. At certain places, there were too many colors to focus and some others it was just a plain black with the mixture of foggy gray tone. Enjoy Loading...

Mumbai, India (Day 1)...January 09, 2009

Mumbai was the first stop during our 2 weeks in India with a group of friends from studio at Columbia University. I had an opportunity to get to Mumbai a day early and with the help from a very good friend of mine Amardeep, everything went smooth from airport to accommodation. In the afternoon, I tried to go out and figuratively speaking get lost around some outdoor market places and its vicinity. Amazing people and its fabric. Enjoy Loading...

Taj Mahal, Agra, India...January 22, 2009

This was part of a side trip from a studio at Columbia. From a distance(at the entrance gate), it was hard to imagine how grand, massive and elegance of the structure that emerges beyond the horizon. Until you actually make your way across its splendid landscape through the green and blue and then put on plastic bag shoes to be able to maneuver yourself within the structure, you will realize how unbelievably amazing the Taj Majah is. The experience was breath-taking. When I looked up to its highest point where the 58' x 213' central dome is situated and that was when it's really struck me. I actually stood in-front of one of the most beautiful symbols of the world. These few pictures are what I really perceive once I was there so...enjoy Loading...
